Doorway to Hell
(airdate Sept 26th, 1988). A
quiet evening at the store is disrupted when Lewis Vendredi begins speaking to
Jack from a cracked mirror. After Micki explains that the mirror had been one
of Lewis' personal possessions, Jack begins to understand why Lewis appeared to
him. Apparently, Lewis dabbled in the occult and it is believed that mirrors
which witness occult ceremonies become windows to the Realm of Darkness-a
mysterious dimension between this world and Hell. As they investigate the mirror,
a shard of glass is loosened, revealing a deed to a house, unaware that it is
being used as a secret hideout by two dangerous criminals who take them
prisoner after they arrive there. To make matter worse, Uncle Lewis takes over
the body of the criminals to pursue a diabolical plot. Guest cast: Charnel

The Voodoo Mambo
(airdate: Oct 3, 1998). During
the town's carnival celebration, Micki and Ryan are introduced to Jack's
Jamaican friend and voodoo master Hedley and his granddaughter Stacy, and soon
find themselves in hot pursuit of a cursed voodoo mask, Originally, the mask
had been sold by Uncle Lewis to Jeremiah Waters, a Haitian coffee magnate. But
now, the mask has fallen into the hands of Water's son Cole, a young man who
has squandered his estate and stands on the brink of bankruptcy. The mask was
created by a voodoo priestess who now possess it after her death, and she is
using Cole as her instrument of revenge by promising him incredible wealth and
power if he will kill three "legbas"-the high priests of voodoo. Once
the legbas are dead and Laotia reclaims their souls, she can come back to life.

And Now the News
(airdate Oct.10, 1988) At the
Maceo Clinic two psychiatrists treating the criminally insane are achieving
drastically different results with their approaches. Dr. Kevin Fin, head of the
clinic, has had six patients die under his treatment program, which forces them
to face their phobias on the other hand, young and ambitious Dr. Avril Carter
has had miraculous "overnight" results with patients heretofore
considered incurable. The secret to Dr. Carter's success lies in an antique
radio from Uncle Lewis, secured from a former patient. The radio's unique
nightly new broadcast reveal to Dr. Carter the necessary techniques to cure her
patients. But when the radio is placed in the rooms of Dr. Finch's patients,
the newscasts consists of a story targeted tot he patient's deepest fears,

Tails I Live, Heads You Die
(airdate: Oct 17, 1988) While
investigating a violent cult of devil worshipers, newspaperman Tom Hewitt
watches three men exhume the body of Carl Naft, a notorious occultist. He also
watches in horror as the leader of the group, Sylvan Winters, tosses a cursed
coin at the cemetery caretaker, which lands "heads up" and unleashes
a powerful force that kills the man. Following Sylvan and his henchman to their
coven beneath Sylvan's taxidermy shop, Hewitt witness an eerie ceremony in
which Sylvan puts the "tails" side of a coin with a satanic symbol on
Naft's forehead to resurrect him from the dead. Hewitt overhears Sylvan claim
that Naft is the first of three devil worshippers who will be called back from

Symphony in B#
(airdate: Oct. 31, 1988). Rock
music enthusiast Ryan changes his tune and develops a passion for Beethoven and
Bach when he falls in love in with classic concert violinist Leslie Reins.
Unfortunately, all is not harmonious at Symphony Hall, where a janitor and a
first violinist have been mysteriously killed. But the murders are just two of
the many unexplained incidents which have occurred since the symphony's famous
violinist Janos Korda Died in a fiery car crash. Among the most bizarre of
these occurrences in the annual release of the new album of original by Korda
on the anniversary of his death. How the tapes are obtained remains an eerie
mystery. No one would suspect, much less believe, that Janos Korda is still
alive - horribly burned, mangled and deformed-composing and recording his music

Master of Disguise
(airdate: Nov. 7th,1988). While
supplying antique props for a movie set, Micki falls for the handsome and
enigmatic star of the film, William Pratt. While jealously fueling his
suspicions, Ryan warns Micki against getting involved with the star reminding
her that there have been mysterious "accidents" on the sets of all
his movies. Ignoring his advice, Micki follows her heart and begins intimately
involved with the actor. Pratt's sudden rise to the movie stardom is a mystery
to fans and critics...with a good reason. The truth is, he is Jeff Amory, an
ugly and deformed horror movie actor who had been obsessed with a beautiful
red-haired actress. But when he discovered her a in a remote hideaway with
another man, he killed the lover in a jealous rage, and caused the terrified
actress to fall from a cliff. Although Amory was later committed to an insane
asylum, he managed to escape, and purchased an antique make-up case from Uncle
Lewis which was formerly owned by John Wilkes Booth. Now, as William Pratt, his
theatrical makeup must have an essential ingredient to protect the secret

Wax Magic
(airdate: Nov. 14, 1988).
Attending a touring carnival with Jack, Ryan is drawn to the strangely
beautiful Marie Chase, who works at her husband's wax museum. Taking him on a
tour of the museum's attractions, Marie complains of a terrible headache and
faints, Ryan is mystified by the reaction of Marie's husbands Aldwin, who
refuses to summon medical help insists upon caring for her himself. A short
time later, the decapitated bodies of several carnival patron are found, and
Marie's torturous head aches cease. Their suspicions raised, Ryan and Jack
discover the headless bodies have been found in virtually every city the
carnival has visited in the two months. Before long, Ryan and Jack figure out
that Aldwin's lifelike waxwork of ax murderer Lizzie Borden is responsible for
the murders-the result of one of Uncle Lewis' cursed objects. Guest cast:

Read My Lips

Van Home is a successful ventriloquist whose dummy has a mind of its own. Right
down to his pink silk boutonniere, Oscar is extraordinary and evil. He controls
Edgar, forcing him to kill in exchange for making their act a hit. Fulfilling
his end of the end of deal, Edgar has been stabbing innocent victims death in
every city where the act has been a sold-out success. But Edgar has been
disgusted with his actions and want's out, especially now that he's engaged to
Gabrielle, an old friend of Micki's. When Micki attend Edgar's nightclub show,
she's shocked to hear the dummy hurl insults at Gabrielle from the stage. Micki
suspects there are supernatural powers at work, though Ryan assures her that
the manifest contains no entries a ventriloquist's dummy. At the wedding Oscar
disrupts the ceremony by taunting Gabrielle. Driven mad by his evil partner,
Edgar races from the church and is hit by a car. He survives the accident but
tells Ryan that Oscar forced him to become a killer, and they must find a way

13 O'Clock
(airdate: Jan 2, 1989). Outside
the wall s of the subway station, Henry Wilkerson bludgeons a street musician
to death. Seconds later, he descends to the subway platform and glances at his
antique watch. It reads 12:59. A minute passes and the number one on the dial
dissolves and is replaced by the number 13. At that exact moment, everyone and everything
around Henry quickly is thrown into a state of suspended animation, and Henry
quickly exists the subway. But unknown to him, his murderous actions have been
by his wife of one month, Reatha. Soon, Reatha figures out that his pocket
watch gives Henryt he ability to freeze time, commit crimes and have life
return to normal without anyone the wiser. The steep price paid for this one
hour of total freedom: a human life. Hungry for the power the watch possesses,
Reatha follows Henry to the train station, grabs the watch and kills him then

Night Hunger

Michael Fiorno has grown from a quiet boy whose father's store was adjacent to
Vendredi Antiques, to a sullen and bitter adult, still plagued by childhood memories
of his domineering father Dominic. When he was a youngster, Michael's father
constantly belittle him-calling his son a "loser" and comparing him
unfavorably to a classmate known as "The Deacon." Now a young man,
Michael pursues his love of cars, challenging local hot rodders to races and to
his fathers surprise, winning them. Around his neck, he sports a chain with a
blank key dangling from it. Dominic gave the key to Michael as a cruel token of
his disappointment in him, but the chain was a gift from the one man who had
befriended the lonely child: Lewis Vendredi. With the cursed necklace to help
him Michael had been on a systematic killing spree to assure his racing
victories. After each murder, he the dips the blood of his victims, thus giving

The Sweetest Sting
(airdate: Jan. 16, 1989). Miki,
Ryan and Jack are in pursuit of antique beehive which inspires terror in the
one man the know once owned it, a farmer named Purdy-but he won't say why. Bob
Tucker, however, finds out the hard way when he stops to buy honey from Elroy
McCabe's roadside stand and is attacked by the farmer's vampire bees, who kill
Tucker by draining the blood from his body. McCabe then releases the killer
bees on a middle-aged man named Ben Landis. The cursed blood from their stings
gives him eternal youth-and Tucker's body. To maintain his immortality, Landis
requires just a weekly "taste of honey" from McCabe's special stock.

The Playhouse
(airdate: Jan. 23,1989). The
sleepy community of Perkinsville is gripped with fear when its children began
disappearing. Over a five-month period, nine children have left their homes
never to return. When a young Danny Green is reported missing by his hysterical
mother, a TV reporter questions Mike and Janine Carlson, the last two children
to see Danny alive. At the antique store, Miki watches the news report with
interests she helps formulate a list of cursed items to retrieve. High on the
list is an antique Victorian-style playhouse. They trace it to Brad Farrell, a
workman living in Perkinsville. Unbeknownst to them Brad gave the play house to
the children of a former girlfriend, Sylvia Carlson. Deserted by their father,
the Carlson children are abused and neglected by their mother. The playhouse,
one of the few gifts they've ever received, becomes their most cherished
possession. In due time, Mike and Janine learn of it's evil powers-it will grant
wishes at playtime, as long as it can be "fed" a diet which consists

Eye of Death

Rook is a serpentine antique dealer specializing in Civil War memorabilia, who
has become very rich after discovering the powers of a cursed magic lantern.
Rooks knows that for the price of a human life, the lantern will transport him
into its projected image-a Civil War battlefield where available "future
antiques" are plentiful and ripe for the picking. Using the lantern, Rook
travels repeatedly back in time to September 17, 1862. The tide is turning in
the Civil War. In Sharpsburg, Maryland, General Robert E. Lee's troops have
been decimated. To gain Lee's confidence, Rook offers the General historic
strategic maneuvers, while surreptitiously stealing personal artifacts from the
pockets of the dead and dying soldiers. And in order to return to the 20th

Face of Evil

Mackie, attractive assistant to top model Tabitha Robbins is haunted by visions
of her sister's tragic death. Helen Maki has a compact from Vendredi Antiques
that sent her on a killing spree, and in the end, cause her own death as well.
Although keenly aware of the havoc wreaked by the cursed compact, Joanne keeps
it in her possession as a remembrance of her sister. Once a top cover girl,
Tabitha Robbins is jealous of the up-and-coming young models she now works
with, and concerned about the age lines which are noticeable on her face. While
looking for a tissue, she rummages through Joanne's purse and finds the
compact. Sensing it's eerie power, she keeps it. For Helen Macki, the compact
helped her get revenge on all who called her ugly. For the vain Tabitha, it
will take revenge on all who threaten her position as the country's leading

Better Off Dead
(airdate: Feb.13, 1989). When
Micki's college roommate Linda Madison moves to town, Ryan has a grand time entertaining
her. Elsewhere, in a gloomy mansion, scientist Walter Voss relentlessly
conducts experiments on prostitutes he's abducted. Voss is obsessed with
finding a cure for Hyper-Violent Syndrome, a degenerative disease which his
young daughter Amanda caught from an infected hypodermic needle left in her
father's lab, which has turned the girl from a normal child into a raging
animal. Binding a young prostitute named Lesley, Voss uses an antique silver
syringe to extract a series of fluids from her brain. Injecting those fluids
into Amanda temporarily returns her back to nromal, while Lesley becomes
increasingly primate-like with each extraction. In a frenzied attempt to save
herself, Lesley, now more animal than human, knocks Voss down. With the scientist
stalking her, the young woman darts across a nearby road and is struck and
killed by a car Linda and Ryan are driving. When Ryan and Linda get out of the
car to investigate, Voss knocks Ryan out and drags Linda away. A shaken Ryan
returns to the store to discover the sale of an antique silver syringe - a

Scarlet Cinema
(airdate: Feb. 20, 1989). Nerdy
college student Darius Pogue spends hours alone in a dark movie theatre
mouthing dialogue along with Lon Chaney, Jr. in the classic horror film The
Wolf Man. When the lights in the theatre come back on, Darius has a hard time
returning to the real world. In fact, his greatest wish in life is to become a
werewolf. After some of Darius' classmates humiliate him by showing a film of
one of his attempts to transfrom himself into a werewolf, Darius becomes even
more obsessed. While browsing through Taylor McDougall's camera shop for a film
case project, Darius becomes mesmerized by an antique movie camera. When
McDougall firmly states that the camera is not for sale, Darius steals it - but
not before the camera eerily captures McDougall's image on film. When Darius
returns to his dorm with his prize, the camera seems to come to life. A blue
light shining from its viewfinder beckons Darius to peer in. When he does,
Darius sees footage from "The Wolf Man," but this time, the plot is
altered somewhat. The werewolf is seen entering McDougall's camera shop, where
he proceeds to savage McDougall, the camera emitting all the sights and sounds
of the carnage. Stunned, Darius rips open the back of the camera where he finds
the inscription "Three deaths and you get your wish." Darius is
euphoric as he begins plotting revenge against those who have humiliated him.

The Mephisto Ring
(airdate: April 10, 1989).
Donald Wren, a rumpled loser with an unfortunate gambling addiction, believes
his luck has changed when he discovers a ring with the power to pick winning
bets - for a deadly price. A thug hired by big-time bookie Anthony Macklin
tries to strong-arm Donald into paying off his gambling debts by ravaging a
thrift shop run by Donald's mother, Mrs. Wren. While there, the ruffian finds
an old World Series ring, but trying it on proves fatal. As Donald watches in
terror and disbelief, the ring clamps tightly around the man's finger, causing
an unseen force to slowly crush the hood to death. Seconds after the gruesome
killing, the ring reveals to Donald a vision of the outcome of the daily
Perfecta race. After he bets on the race and wins $5,000, an ecstatic Donald
realizes that he's finally on to a sure thing. Overcome with greed, he
gleefully plunges ahead, leaving behind a trail of death as the ring shows a

A Friend to the End
(airdate: April 17, 1989).
Micki's 10-year-old nephew J.B. is left with her for the weekend by his mother,
a divorcee enjoying the freedom of her single life. Disgusted by her sister's
behaviour, Micki is caught in a bind - although she knows that J.B. needs some
motherly companionship, she and Ryan are hot on the trail of a cursed object.
Deciding that J.B. will be safe playing in the park for a few hours, Micki
leaves him there, along with Ryan's prized 1950's bicycle. The lonely boy meets
up with a group of young hoodlums, who offer J.B. membership in their gang if
he will enter the Harper residence, the neighborhood "haunted house".
The previous tenants of the house had mysteriously disappeared, along with
their young son Ricky, and others who have since entered the house have never
come out alive. The naive J.B. rises to the challenge and ventures inside,
while the thugs make off with Ryan's bicycle. In the house, J.B. is spoked by
the voice of a child asking J.B. to befriend him - a boy that is actually a
deadly spirit who gained life through one of Uncle Lewis' cursed antiques.

The Butcher
(airdate: April 24, 1989).
Across the ocean, a German scientist named Mueller escapes from prison and
heads to a bomb-damaged underground laboratory. There, he dangles a silver
amulet, consisting of a swastika enclosed in a circle, over a frozen body, and
gleefully watches the corpse come to life. The "dead" man is Colonel
Rausch, a notorious Nazi known during the war as "The Butcher". As
Mueller uncouples the amulet, keeping the circle part for himself and handing
Rausch the swastika, he explains that their minds are linked through the
amulet. When Rausch has killed all their enemies, and the amulet is again
coupled, they will at last have the future the Fueher promised - a Reich that
will last a thousand years. The "enemies" Rausch speaks of are the
men of Jack's World War II squadron, who strangled Rausch to death with barbed
wire and captured Mueller. As part of the plan to rebuild the Reich, Rausch
comes to America using the pseudonym "Eric Walden" and methodically

The Secret Agenda of Mesmer's
Bauble
(airdate: May 1, 1989). Homely,
lonely Howard Moore escapes his mundane life as a record store clerk by
fantasizing about rock 'n' roll goddess, Angelica. Returning home from work one
night, Howard stumbles upon a robbery in progress, and he sees lying amidst
shards of splintered glass an antique crystal pendant. Mesmerized, Howard picks
up the pendant, just as a passing jogger admonishes him to leave the item for
the police. In response, Howard tells him to "drop dead," which the
runner proceeds to do. Shocked by the pendant's obvious power, he scurries away
to discover the pendant's powerful secret: by hypnotizing selected victims to
commit suicide, the jewel allows Howard to turn fantasies into realities,

Wedding in Black
(airdate: May 8, 1989). The
lives of Micki, Ryan and Jack are endangered by the unexpected appearances of
three friends from their pasts. The surprises begin when Micki receives an
unmarked package conataining a snow globe whose swirling flakes reveal the
Magic Castle, a tourist attraction from her childhood. Soon, the anonymous
donor arrives at the shop: Calvin Collier, a former schoolmate who reveals that
Micki gave him his first kiss on a class trip to the Magic Castle. Delighted to
see Calvin again, Micki agrees to accompany him on a weekend trip to the Hidden
Lake Lodge. A short time later, Jack receives an unexpected visit from his old
friend Brother Antonio, who had been working in Africa as a missionary. Jack
accepts the priest's offer to join him for a few days rest at a monastery. But
when Ryan also suddenly receives a visit from his former girlfriend Maya, his
suspicions compel him to invesitgate the "coincidences." First, Ryan
learns that neither the Hidden Lake Lodge nor Brother Antonio's monastery
actually exist. Then, to his astonishment, Ryan also discovers that all three
of their visitors have recetly died - but have been sent by Satan to torment

Wedding Bell Blues
(airdate: May 15, 1989). Danny,
a local pool hustler, has been down on his luck, much to the chagrin of his
pregnant finacee Jennifer, who's counting on his winnings to finance their wedding.
To speed things along, Jennifer gives Danny a new cue stick, which causes his
game to improve dramatically for reasons only Jennifer knows: the cursed cue
turns losers into winners after it's been used to kill an innocent victim. It
seems that Jennifer, obsessed with becoming a bride and tired of Danny's lame
excuses about his financial affairs, has had no qualms about murdering to
assure her lover's winnings. Despite this, Danny steadfastly refuses to set a
wedding date. Later, Jennifer is enraged to discover Danny making love to her
sister and uses the cue stick to kill her. Jennifer then informs a shocked and
speechless Danny that she is responsible for his amazing pool shots and won't

The Maestro

Pascola, a former ballet star and now a leading choreographer, has offered a
place in his company to Grace Colwell, the daughter of Jack's old friend. The
young ballerina is thrilled, and a proud Jack, accompanied by Grace, Ryan and
Micki, attends a performance of Pascola's most recent ballet. To their
surprise, the advertised dancers do not perform that evening - it seems they
committed suicide the night before. After the performance, the group goes
backstage to meet with Maestro, whose collection of antique music boxes catches
Jack's eye. He is particularly drawn to an extremely rare model known as a
Symphonia , but when he asks Pascola for permission to examine it, the
choreographer rudely rebuffs him. Later, when Jack observes Grace studying a
videotape of Pascola's dancers in rehearsal, he clearly hears the music from
the Symphonia playing in the background. Checking the manifest, Jack soon
learns that the Symphonia is indeed cursed, causing Pascola's dancers to become
possessed, creating extraordinary steps and routines until they collapse and

The Shaman's Apprentice

visiting her terminally ill friend Blair in the hospital, Micki becomes privy
to a bizarre occurence that has the hospital staff abuzz. It seems that the
gruesome death of a perfectly healthy intern has coincided with the miraculous
recovery of his terminally ill patient. Controversy swirls around Dr. John
White Cloud, a Native American physician whose antagonistic relationship with
the hospital's Chief Surgeon, Dr. Thomas Lamar, is well known. In White Cloud's
eyes, Lamar is only interested in saving the lives of the rich, and is
completely insensitive to street people and others who cannot afford his
services. Later, while visiting his family's reservation, White Cloud's life is
changed forever by the discovery of an elaborate ceremonial rattle. Revealing a
vision of another time, the rattle shows White Cloud its ability to heal - but
first, Cloud must kill to engage the rattle's power. Wielding his mighty
rattle, White Cloud begins to methodically kill off his foes at the hospital in

The Prisoner
(airdate: June 5, 1989). Dayton
Railsback waits in prison for the day he can claim the millions he and three
accomplices stole in an armored car robbery ten years earlier. In exchange for
a favor, Dayton accepts an unusual Japanese kamikaze jacket from a fellow
inmate. When a deadly fight erupts between two prisoners, blood splatters on
Railsback's new garment, and to his amazement, he is rendered invisible. He
gleefully walks out of prison and heads to the hidden loot. Once there, the
invisible Railsback finds an empty locker and realizes that his pals have
double-crossed him. When nightwatchman Vince Ventura and his son Johnny
investigate strange noises coming from the locker, Railsback grabs Vince's gun
and kills him. The police soon arrive and arrest Johnny for his father's
murder. Realizing that no one will believe his story of an invisible attacker,
Johnny appeals to Micki and Ryan for help. Guest Cast: Steven Monarque as

Coven of Darkness
(airdate: June 12, 1989). Ryan
becomes a helpless pawn in a witch's struggle to possess a powerful occult
symbol known as the witch's ladder. The ladder had belonged to a coven of white
witches as The Right Hand Path. After discovering that it was the cursed
creation of Lewis Vendredi, they alerted Curious Goods. Micki and Jack arrive
to retrieve the item, but later, a man in Gareth's group is kidnapped by
members of Lewis' former coven and tortured until he reveals the whereabouts of
the witch's ladder. Lysa, the deadly leader of Lewis' evil coven, visits
Curious Goods and convinces Ryan that she's working against Lewis. As she and
Ryan shake hands, her ring cuts his flesh. After wiping away the blood with her
handkerchief, Lysa abruptly leaves. Late that night, Lysa sculpts a wax figure
of Ryan, covers it with the bloodied handkerchief and stabs it with pins, while
calling for the ladder's return. At Curious Goods, Ryan bolts out of bed and
tries to get to the ladder from the vault, but he is stopped by Micki. Lysa
then convinces Ryan that he must leave the store and stay with his friend
Danny. While there, Danny is savagely murdered by members of Lysa's cult, but
she tells Ryan that the ladder caused him to kill Danny and unless he gives it
to her for safe keeping, he may murder again! Guest Cast: Maria Ricossa as
