Mother 's Day Trivia
Did you know:
That Mother's Day was not going to be the first in the series of F13 novels?
It's true. Originally the first book in the series was going to be The Mask of Jason Voorhees. But after Mask of Jason Voorhees was rejected Mother's Day was moved to first position and inherited the killer, Joe Travers, from The Mask of Jason Voorhees.
That originally Mother's Day was going to have both Jason and his mother together again.
You see in the Mask of Jason Voorhees Jason was going to be brought back. So in Mother's Day Jason was supposed to go on a killing spree with his mother's head. At the end Jason was supposed to turn on his mother's head and chop it in half with his machete.

And that author William Pattison's pen name, Eric Morse, is a combination of the names Eric Desler (The Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera) and Inspector Morse (A character out of a series of mystery novels William enjoyed).
That during the second weekend of shooting the film, Mother's Day, that there was a huge rainstorm that stopped shooting and damaged some of the sets.
