When Jason is once again brought back from his watery grave, he catches a ride on an old frieghter carrying the graduating class of Crystal Lake High on a trip to New York City. After Jason slaughters the crew and most of the class, the surviving teenagers and escorts escape in a lifeboat.
Unfortunately, when they come ashore in New York harbor, they find that Jason has followed them.
Now they must find a way to stop Jason before he paints the Big Apple red with blood...........
